Wrangling Data

When looking at data, especially visual data, one might become confused at what’s in front of them if not properly tagged or identified. Visual Data can be messy and distinction can often be a difficult task. Steve Doig, writer for Data Journalism, said when researching crime the vital facts, such as gender and total value of item stolen, can appear missing. This to me is why I visual journalism is essential because it’s hand work, but also, it’s human work. A task that robots can do in the future. Any structured data, as Sandhya Kambhampti, is good data.
